PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE

issued for residents of Town of Fort Myers Beach residing on Primo Dr., and from Donora Blvd to Estrellita Dr. to Big Carlos Pass Bridge.

utilities-boil water

A water main break serving your area has occurred causing loss of pressure.

Therefore, as a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative bottled water may be issued.

This “Precautionary Boil Water Notice” will remain in effect until the water main has been repaired and two consecutive days of satisfactory bacteriological water samples show that the water is safe to drink. If you have any questions, you may contact the Town of Fort Myers Beach Utilities Department, at 239 – 463 – 9914.

Are you not getting notifications about boil water advisories and other news and information from the Town? Make sure you are signed up to receive notifications in both these ways:

  • Code Red - phone calls, texts, emails sent directly to you when issues are urgent such as water main breaks and boil water notices https://public.coderedweb.com/CNE/en-US/75BFEEC9A6A5
