The Town of Fort Myers Beach would like to share the following important updates regarding the RentalScape portal:
1. Property Upload to RentalScape
Properties are actively being uploaded to the RentalScape system. The process is progressing smoothly.
2. Condo Opt-Outs & Fee Waivers
The RentalScape implementation team has successfully flagged all properties listed on the Town’s official Condo Opt-Out list. These properties will have their registration fees waived through October 17, 2025.
Town staff will be contacting HOA representatives on the Opt-Out list to collect the following required documents:
- A complete list of all units per HOA
- An updated Opt-Out Condominium Letter
- A Certificate of Acknowledgment for HOA rules
This information will be provided to the RentalScape technical team, who are enhancing the system's tracking capabilities for these properties.
3. Technical Support & Registration Help
A step-by-step troubleshooting and registration guide will be available soon.
In the meantime, if you're having trouble receiving the verification code to confirm your email address, please follow these steps:
- Verify the email address: Make sure you are logging in with the same email used during registration.
- If the email address is incorrect, use the Edit button in RentalScape to update it.
- Check your email filters: Look for pop-up blockers or security settings that may be preventing the verification code from being delivered.
- If the issue persists, please contact RentalScape support through the Support tab within the portal.
