Beachfront property owners are encouraged to take advantage of The Florida Hurricane Restoration Reimbursement Grant Program. FDEP will reimburse residential and condo owners for sand and armoring projects. It is important to get proper permitting to qualify.
Sand placed waterward of armoring qualifies for 100% reimbursement! Armoring is reimbursed 50%, up to $300,000 for residential, and $600,000 for condos.
