Town of Fort Myers Beach, FL – The Town of Fort Myers Beach has submitted a grant application in the amount of $1,745,700.00 to the Lee County Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Recovery & Resiliency Planning Program. This program is part of the overall U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funding award to Lee County to support long‐term recovery efforts following Hurricane Ian.
The Town of Fort Myers Beach is seeking CDBG-DR funding through the Lee County Recovery and Resiliency Planning Program to support critically necessary island-wide recovery and resilience planning initiatives. The Town seeks to fill a need to modernize comprehensive and actionable recovery plans to guide the Town’s implementation of its recovery strategy, fully considering unmet needs, mitigation best practices, and sustainability.
The Recovery & Resiliency Planning Program is a competitive process for planning. Plans must benefit programs, services, or communities in Lee County.
