Community members interested in serving as volunteers to advise and support the work of Town government are encouraged to apply. The purpose of the Anchorage Advisory Committee is to advise the Town Council concerning all matters relevant to the management and use of the water of the Town for mooring and anchoring. 

About the Anchorage Advisory Committee:

• The Anchorage Advisory Committee shall prepare and submit the Matanzas Habor Management Plan and any amendments there to review and approval by the Town Council.
• The Committee shall make recommendations for establishment of managed municipal anchorages and mooring fields, where warranted by objective evidence of environmental damage or user conflicts
• The Anchorage Advisory Committee shall advise the Town Council on these matters and other matters pursuit to F.S., 218.391, F.S., or any other topics as assigned by the Town Council.
