The main topic – Building Resilience Capacity to Storminess in a Coastal Setting: Lessons Learned from Hurricane Ian.

- Increasing dune height

- Use of sea walls or gray / green hybrid dunes
- New considerations for dune re-vegetation
- Building more resilient structures for surge

- Manage hot spots differently—Newton the “hottest.”
