FPL will be upgrading a switch cabinet this morning due to some issues we are experiencing with that piece of equipment.
As part of our proactive efforts to maintain the energy grid, FPL crews will be upgrading electric equipment along Old San Carlos Blvd., near 1st and 2nd Streets, in Fort Myers Beach today, Dec. 13. Work will begin at 9:30 a.m. and is expected to be completed within 6-8 hours. During this work, approximately 90 customers in the area may experience an outage. We have conducted outreach to these customers via outbound calls and thank them for their patience as we work safely and as quickly as possible as part of our commitment to providing them excellent service reliability.
