Mayor Allers and Town Staff meet with FEMA and State Representatives in Washington D.CTuesday, March 4, 2025, Mayor Dan Allers, Town Manager Andrew Hyatt, Deputy Town Clerk/Legislative Liaison Jason Freeman, and Town Attorney Nancy Stuparich went to Washington D.C. to discuss probation on the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and Community Rating System (CRS). These topics were discussed with FEMA, Senator Ashley Moody, Congressman Byron Donalds, and a Representative from Senator Rick Scott’s office. The Town is committed to working with FEMA to remove our NFIP probation status and reinstate our CRS rating of 5.

St. Patrick's Day Parade Returns THIS WEEKEND!
The Fort Myers Beach Woman’s Club is proud to announce the return of the Fort Myers Beach St. Patricks’ Day Parade on Saturday March 15th at 10 am – starting at Santini Plaza and ending at the Woman’s Club property at 175 Sterling Ave on Fort Myers Beach. Sponsored by the King Family Foundation, this treasured event will be full of the blarney! “We are happy to co-chair this special event and look forward to a great day of celebration and island camaraderie,” said Deb Nelson and Barb Mezeske, co-chairs. “We’re glad to be back!” A Post Parade Tent Event will follow immediately after the parade from 11:00 - 3:00 pm at 175 Sterling Ave and will feature music, dancing, entertainment, food trucks, and free parking. Prizes for best floats will also be awarded. - Non-Motorized $1000
