BOIL WATER NOTICEA Precautionary Boil Water Notice is in effect for residents of the Town of Fort Myers Beach on Bay Beach Lane from Waterside I to Dolphin Pointe. Two consecutive days of satisfactory bacteriological water samples must show that the water is safe to drink before the boil water notice is lifted. Please keep your eye out for updates. REMINDER: Leash RequirementAccording to chapter 6 section 31 of the Town of Fort Myers Beach Code of Ordinances, "For the duration of any time a dog is on any public property, or on any private property, other than that of its owner, to which the general public is customarily invited or permitted to enter, the owner of such dog must keep it under direct control via handheld leash not more than six feet in length."
