Mound House: Community ConversationWhat's in the Water? With Dr. Mike Parsons
Join us next Wednesday, January 22, 2025, for a dive into the science of Fort Myers Beach's water!
Dr. Mike Parsons of FGCU's Water School will be speaking at Mound House of January 22nd at 7:00pm on his latest research on the island's water quality. Building upon the work of a community science project last summer, Dr. Parsons will share the findings from that project, his other work, and what it means for Fort Myers Beach.
Admission includes lecture, museum admission, and light refreshments. Mound House Members are free, and regular admission is $5. Doors open at 6:30pm. Register here!

REMINDER: Leash RequirementAccording to chapter 6 section 31 of the Town of Fort Myers Beach Code of Ordinances, "For the duration of any time a dog is on any public property, or on any private property, other than that of its owner, to which the general public is customarily invited or permitted to enter, the owner of such dog must keep it under direct control via handheld leash not more than six feet in length."
